You guys! Our front yard is finally done! You know that feeling when you really want to post something, but there is just always one more thing that needs to be done? That’s how this project has been for me. In fact, there is still of course one more thing, but I just couldn’t wait any longer!

Before

I know I shared these before photos in our previous post, Modern Bohemian Front Yard Inspiration, but I thought it was important to share again as it shows what a huge transformation it underwent.

After

We had our fence put in about a month ago, and I am absolutely loving it. It’s so fun as a designer to be able to have a plan in your head, design it, and see it come to life. Before all of this, Scott and I had been commenting on almost every wood fence we had seen for the last who knows how long, and I am sure I drove him crazy with comments like … “That one is too orange”, or “I want to see a more natural look”, or “see how the planks are kinda small? I wish they were larger.” Being picky is both a blessing and a curse, but this picky girl got it just right! I love how the natural wood and metal fence turned out! This picture shows a few of my favorite details. We had one of our brick posts rebuilt to fit a brand new mailbox and took down the old house number which we replaced with these new modern black numbers. To say I am obsessed is an understatement.

Our landscaping is pretty simple, but the kids are loving their new turf area and I am thrilled that it is all closed in to keep them safe since we live so close to the street.

Our gardener is still completing putting the right plants in these areas, but I know once that’s done and they all grow in we will have exactly the look I was going for.

I love how the walkway turned out and how crisp everything looks, and a fresh coat of paint on the house helps too!

The plants that hang over our entryway are seriously what sold this house for me. It adds so much character and gives that space the most inviting feel. When you step up onto that brick stair, you enter the most adorable little room (which we brought back from the house’s original plan as seen here).

Just the right amount of landscaping for me. Scott and I have enjoyed every step of this process including selecting each and every plant we’ve included.

Thanks for joining me on this tour of my front yard. Hope you enjoyed it! It’s been a true process getting this done, but I am so proud of how it turned out and love how happy and inviting it all looks … Now time to get started on the back!
