Another shout out to Lauren’s Mother-in-Law for bringing us something special. “Mix” has become a favorite amongst our family, friends, and coworkers. We mentioned “mix” in a previous post, A Little Surprise For Your Hotel Guests .
Presentation is key. In our previous post we added monogrammed stickers to the bags with the couple’s names and last initial and simple satin ribbon. These were given to the hotel guests at Lauren and Scott’s wedding. Here are some other ways we have presented our mix:

We made this Winter inspired mix last year to hand out as gifts for the holidays. We added mini marshmallows, white chocolate chips, and York Pieces to give it winter color. It is tied together with a homemade tag made out of metallic snowflake paper.

Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like Candy Cane flavored “mix” with snowman shaped marshmallows. We love the contrast of this turquoise and red polka dot ribbon, and red and white snowflake tag. Each bag was topped off with a full-sized Candy Cane.

This year we decided to try something new, “mix” in October as a Halloween treat. We love Candy Corn so why not add it into the “mix”. Top it off with different patterned black and white ribbons and a creative tag if you wish.
We’ve made “mix” the last two years to hand out to our family, friends, and coworkers for the holidays. We want to try something new this year. Any ideas? What’s your favorite treat to make for the holidays? Our comments section is finally up and running, and we’d love to hear from you.
