It’s Friday! Time for one of our favorite things … food! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we figured this was the perfect time to incorporate pumpkin into a recipe (As if last month’s post (T Side / L Side: Pumpkin Butter Recipes) wasn’t enough!). Once again, Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Butter did not disappoint. Lauren’s husband is a pro at making smoothies and shakes, and he was kind enough to let us share the recipe he concocted.

1. Gather ingredients! In addition to Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Butter, you will need ice, a banana, milk, vanilla ice cream, graham crackers, and cinnamon (both to sprinkle and in stick form).

2. Fill the blender 1/5 full with ice, 1/3 full with milk, 1 banana, 4-5 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 2 full graham crackers, and 2 spoonfuls of pumpkin butter.

3. Blend all (makes two medium sized glasses).

4. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.
