It’s the end of the month, and we are extremely grateful for all of the design challenges and experiences that have come our way. Today, we continue to show you some of our favorites … 5 things that truly made us happy in the great big world of design this month. This has proven to be a great way for us to share sneak peeks into projects that are in the works (but not quite ready to show in their entirety), flashbacks of projects from the past, and highlight an interior or event vendor that deserves recognition. Enjoy!

#1: This countdown! 12 months … and counting until the big Bat Mitzvah weekend we are planning! As there are so many awesome details in the works, we thought it would be fun to check in monthly to update you on what’s happening in the planning process … Starting with we booked a venue! In the next year, Viceroy Santa Monica will be undergoing a major renovation / remodel, we will be booking all of the amazing vendors it takes to pull off three days packed full of events, and every detail will be thoroughly thought through and planned. Stay tuned! (Written by: Tami)

#2: This fabulous location! This month we were hired by our awesome client to help her design and fully furnish her new home in Vail, Colorado! To say we are excited is a complete understatement, and the idea of creating the most amazing bunk room is a dream come true. Can you believe the client and I both picked this photo to add to our inspiration completely at random? It was meant to be! Don’t worry we will be sharing all of the details soon. #3: This birthday party! I should mention that numbers 1 – 3 are all for the same client … Sometimes you get so inspired and love what you are working on so much it doesn’t even feel like work. This is the case with the events and interior projects this particular client has been throwing our way. Our next event is a birthday party for her twelve year old girl. It has a super fun theme and what girl doesn’t need a pink mocktail with rock candy in her life? Right!? Check back in November for all of the details. (Written by: Tami)

#4: This vendor! I have been working closely with Visionnaire to come up with the right pieces to fill my client’s Modern Elegance Home. I really enjoy working with their team, and their products really are top notch. No wonder they are one of the leaders in high end Italian furnishings. Today I attended an intimate designer breakfast at an amazing house they furnished in Beverly Hills … I love what I do! (Written by: Lauren)

#5: This tradition! When we were both attending Arizona State University we used to go to family friends for the Jewish high holidays. They introduced us to breakfast for breaking the Yom Kippur fast, and it just makes so much sense! Since then we have convinced our family to do the same, and this is the first year that I actually hosted some friends in my home. I created a breakfast spread that I hope would make our Arizona friends proud. (Written by: Lauren)
