It’s the end of the month, and we are extremely grateful for all of the design challenges and experiences that have come our way. Today, we continue to show you some of our favorites … 5 things that truly made us happy in the great big world of design this month. This has proven to be a great way for us to share sneak peeks into projects that are in the works (but not quite ready to show in their entirety), flashbacks of projects from the past, and highlight an interior or event vendor that deserves recognition. Enjoy!

#1: This season! Wow! I can’t believe the holiday season is coming to an end. Very soon we will be taking down these gorgeous decorations in our client’s home, but before we do, I want to give them just a little bit more love. This makes our favorite five list because getting gigs for the holidays has been a goal of ours for a while, and I am beyond proud of all that we have learned to make it happen and the way that we have promoted ourselves as well in order to get a chance to show our abilities in not one but two homes! Next year, I hope to expand even more in this area of our business … The sky’s the limit! (Written by: Tami)

#2: This inspiration! When you are given a blank slate to create an amazing master closet, you turn to Pinterest for inspiration. I found this photo and have since been smitten. I plan to give my client’s master closet a high end, ultra chic vibe like this one and take advantage of all of the space we have been given to create it. (Written by: Lauren)

#3: This theme! This coming weekend brings a really fun party we are helping to plan as well as an awesome theme to go with it. What’s more glamorous than New Year’s? All those sequins and fancy glasses of champagne! I couldn’t have been more excited to hear that my client (who is throwing a party to ring in the new year) wants to go ultra glam but throw it back to the Old Hollywood days. Oh, what fun! Don’t worry, I will take lots of pics and post next week on the blog … Stay tuned! (Written by: Tami)

#4: This vendor! A few of our friends started this little shop in Brentwood (Bryck and Mortar), and we love it too much not to share. They have a different vendor each month which makes it extra fun to shop! If you are looking for a great pop up space or want to do some shopping, check them out at the Brentwood Town Center. Eye Heart Mercantile will be there in January! (Written by: Lauren)

#5: This update! When I showed our playroom on the blog a few months ago (as seen in our Modern Bohemian Playroom post), I mentioned that there were still a few things I wanted to complete. Thanks to various family members the room has been filled up with all kinds of wonderful new toys, a gorgeous mid-century table and chair set, and a floor piano (just like the one at FAO Schwarz). Even the easel has gotten a paint job and the girls continue to enjoy this room each and every day. (Written by: Lauren)
