Expect the unexpected when Interior Designer meets Bride. Lauren decided to use a funky, yet glamorous, snake skin printed wallpaper to tie many of her wedding projects together including:

Table Numbers – Just add a simple white cardstock border, fancy calligraphy, and modern silver card holders from Crate and Barrel to complete the look.

Name Cards – Beautiful cursive calligraphy was added to these name cards as well as rhinestones and pearls to give the caterers a heads up on each guest’s dinner selection. For an extra touch, incorporate the rhinestones and pearls onto the names to give it a little sparkle.

Tags for the Candy and Dessert Bars – Let guests in on a little secret … what’s for dessert. It could also be cute to give your own original names to the treats at your wedding; naming them after previous vacation spots or nicknames will give it a personal touch. Be creative.

Ceremony Programs – A thin strip of wallpaper added elegance to these wedding ceremony programs. Included inside: “A Rose” a poem written by Scott for Lauren (which you can read in our previous post Guest Blogger: “A Rose”), a list of the Wedding Party, a mention of grandparents who are no longer with us, and a note to the guests thanking them for sharing this special day with Scott and Lauren.

Sign-in Book and Card Box -These were custom made by Oksana Lanis as a gift for Scott and Lauren from Lauren’s parents. Lauren gave her some of the wallpaper to incorporate into these projects and keep consistent with other aspects of the wedding decor. Lauren’s only request was to keep these items simple, modern, and white. Oksana did a great job in keeping with the overall look. Lauren’s favorite detail was the use of engagement pictures throughout the pages of the sign-in book.

Bride and Groom Chair Signs – Special signs for the Bride and Groom’s chairs are a nice touch. They can be as simple as these. Make additional table number cards and have your calligrapher write “Bride” and “Groom” on two of them. Add over-sized satin ribbon that is long enough to wrap around the back of the chair.
