Although our parents are not so into baking, we distinctly remember a special birthday treat we used to have at our birthday parties when we were little … cupcake cones. Simple cupcakes were placed inside of regular ice cream cones and frosted to match the color scheme of the party. The fun part comes next … toppings were put out on the table for guests to decorate their cupcakes with. We took this idea and added in some of the aspects of another of our favorite childhood treats (Drumsticks), as well as an idea we saw on Pinterest, and look what we camp up with!

We made these special cupcake cones for our blog birthday party and as our feature treat for our link party. Each sugar cone was filled with a neon pink cupcake and coated in hard white chocolate. We sprinkled gold sugar sprinkles on top and added a special surprise … white chocolate at the bottom of the cone. These cupcake cones were easy to make and tasted fantastic!

Thank you to all who have participated in our special birthday link party. We are so glad we got to celebrate with all of you! Check out their favorite birthday party treats below.

It’s not too late to get in on the fun … we will be accepting comments through the rest of the weekend. Best of luck to all of our participants!
